Montserrat is just west of Barcelona in Spain and consists of huge conglomerate pinnacles above an old (but still active) monastery. The climbing is scary but rewarding. Long run-outs between (sometimes missing) bolts, standing on holds that look like they won’t be there for much longer. Long multi-pitch routes with a real sense of adventure and exposure.
